Does anyone know if this will ever be on DVD?

I've always loved this movie, and I've almost loved my VHS to ruin. I would like to replace it, but if it's coming out on DVD anytime soon, I'll wait. Any information on this would be welcome.

Or, you can go on www.ioffer.com and buy a DVD-r version from there. Great website to buy movies not on DVD yet - if you don't mind a burned copy!

It ran on the Disney Channel but they cut a 5 and a half minute scene out of the movie for some reason. So I'm dubbing it back in from my original off-air recording.
