Saw it for the first time and...

It's quite possibly the best sequel to any horror movie ever! I wasn't expecting much but it was amazing! Scary, suspenseful, and full of twists like the original. I think Alfred Hitchcock would of approved. And the music by Jerry Goldsmith was extremely gripping; haunting and beautiful at the same time.

I just saw it too on AMC.
It was what I expected. Sequels always tend to suck.
This was actually a great sequel.

I hated it...then a few hours later I realized it was really good.

I really enjoyed this film as well. I was expecting them to go the slasher movie route since it was made right in the middle of the '80s slasher craze and have Norman murdering a whole group of hotel guests one by one. But to my surprise it focused more on character and story much like the first one and I think it just as good as that film.

Psycho III went a little slashery.
