So he killed 7?

I caught Psycho 2 on El Ray last night (love the channel, reminds me of TNT from the 90s).

Anyway, in basically the first scene the woman says "What about the victims? What about the seven people he killed?"

Seven? Really? There were 4 deaths in Psycho right? Am I crazy or she crazy or bad writing? What's the deal?

From the FAQ section:

Who are the "seven victims" of Norman Bates mentioned by Lila Loomis in the opening courtroom scene?

Norman's known victims from the original Psycho are (1) his mother; (2) her lover; (3) shower victim Marion Crane; (4) private investigator Milton Arbogast; and (5-6) the two missing women mentioned by the police to the psychiatrist at the end of Psycho. (These may be Holly and Gloria, whose murders are seen in the prequel Psycho IV: The Beginning.) The identity of the seventh victim is never specified, but is presumably someone whose unreported disappearance was uncovered during the police investigation of Norman's activities.
