The MANBEAST

As I watched this film I was convinced that the Manbeast was played by late actor John Bloom. Bloom was an Al Adamson regular who appeared as the monster in Dracula Vs. Frankenstein and can also be seen in such fine fare as Angels' Wild Women and, of course, as the manchild Danny in The Incredible Two-Headed Transplant. Apparently, I was mistaken. The actor who played the Manbeast appeared to be as tall as the hulking Bloom and there was even a facial resemblance. Did anyone else make this observation?
