Belongs on the same cinematic scrap-heap with other bores such as SATAN'S BLADE, NIGHTMARE WEEKEND and a few others I could mention.

I disagree. While it has some nature footage shots, I think it adds to the atmosphere of the forest. Also, the kills are well done for a low budget production, like the throat tear. Plus Gail is awesome! Haha. I enjoy Satan's Blade, but I can differentiate. The Prey is hella better than SB.

I can see why some people would find it boring. It kinda is boring tbh, but not in a bad way. It's has more of a relaxed thing about it. Not the best of the 80's, but it's still an 80's slasher so it's obviously very watchable.

This film isn't THAT boring when compared to say Scream AKA The Outing(which BTW was filmed in 1981 and not released until 1985), that has to be the single most boring slasher film i've ever seen in my entire life.

I liked it, actually. I also liked Satan's Blade.
