A bootleg is NOT a DVD. I was only talking about a good quality picture in it's origial aspect ratio. I have a crummy full screen vhs transfer too. This neads a proper DVD release.

It is going to be released in the Grindhouse Experience part 2 boxset, but I seriously doubt the quality is going to be any good. I'm still getting it though!

I watched it on the Grindhouse Experience part 2 boxset and the quality was fine. Very watchable, looked like a high quality vhs transfer.

Be aware that the Grindhouse Experience part 2 boxset release has several cuts in violent scenes. I also watched the Mill Creek Entertainment box set Sci-Fi Invasion version and I think it is uncut (at least has several scenes that were cut in Grindhouse Experience version) and it even has slightly better picture quality.

I liked this movie a lot back in the day so I wanted to see it again. I fully agree that it should have proper DVD/Bluray release.

Hate to ask, but which out of all the copies is the best? Revok, Flesh-wound, Trash Online, or Grindhouse 2? Trash online exclaims best quality and with widescreen, but maybe it has permanent Swedish subtitles? Regions and formats are of no considerations because my DVD player can play all the stuff. I really want this movie so bad! What to get?

It's finally getting an official release in Germany on DVD. Amazon.de says it will have German and Italian soundtracks but I wouldn't be surprised if there is an English track too. We'll just have to wait till August to find out.

Just got the German DVD. It does not have an English soundtrack. German and Italian only with optional German subtitles. Nice print, 1.85:1 widescreen but NOT 16:9 enhanced.
