Anachronisms

Is it me, or do various anachronisms show up in this movie?

Like any 1980s movie set in the 50s, all cast members have 80s hair. I don't recall having so much feathering & hair spray being used, all beehives being.

I think I even saw a VW thing go by in the traffic.

I'm watching Porky's Revenge and Wendy's wearing a moreso 1980s looking dress. Oh well.
