If you would like to see this on Blu-ray as much as I do, go to Universal Studios . com and then click "contact us" then click your country, then click on "Home video DVD and Blu-ray". Please write that you want this film released on Blu-ray disc. This movie is perfect for the format, I can't believe they chose "The Wiz" instead. I hope you will all help out.
shareGood luck! It's taken more than a decade of it not being available at all (the VHS release was deleted long ago) to get it even on DVD - and then it's only a bare-bones edition, and not a very high-quality transfer.
Hey, I'm glad it's finally come out in any kind of digital form, so I'm not complaining too much, but it doesn't seem like Universal would be interested enough in this title to spend the money remastering it for BD release.
