I just purchased a betamax tape of 'hearts and armour'. Its in the 1:33 to 1 ratio. I can't find the letterbox format for this movie anywere, or the 1:85 to 1 ratio. I fear this movie will never be released again, in particular, dvd. Its really sad, its a lost gem; a diamond. Really sad.

It's actually worse than you think, as the movie was shot in 2.35:1, not 1.85:1. You're missing about 40% of the intended image when you watch that pan & scan tape. Yikes.
