What did those guys inject into that poor woman's nose???

it was not her nose, it as her eye...can't you tell the difference?

I assumed it was poison. I was hoping maybe someone who had read the novel knew which particular poison it was. And I've seen the film numerous times. The incident is shown twice from two different angles. They insert a needle up her nose, not in her eye.

An eye would have been messy and obvious. Injecting something into the nasal cavity not so much...
