great quote

I am wanting to confirm a great quote in this film.

The character Lawrence Fassett is telling Osterman how to deal with the death
of his friends by telling him to:

"Think of them as fleas on a dog, hit by a car,
driven by a drunken teenager. It will help your
sense of perspective."

I was only funny in that it so bizarre. The dude was knocked off his rocker
by the murder of his lover. I am close here, and wondered if someone might know
where the script might be found online. TIA!

There is more to the quote.

"Think of them as fleas on a dog, hit by a car, driven by a drunken teenager who's angry because his girlfriend just gave him the clap. It will help your sense of perspective."

I haven't gone looking for the script online, but I did watch the movie this morning. But enough about my regrets...

I do not understand why people are so eager to put this film down. Ok, so maybe it is weak for a man who gave us Wild Bunch, but it still beats most of today's movies.

Another great quote (from memory): "Truth is a lie that hasn't been exposed". And there are others...

I don't find it weak at all. In fact, watch it today, you'll be amazed by how much of the film has come to pass.
