That's not actually a movie, but an episode from the late 80's TV horror anthology show "Friday The 13th: The Series". The series ran in hour-long episodes, and this one is perhaps my favorite. The show dealt with an antique shop and it's owners - who specialized in recovering cursed artifacts. This episode's item was a cursed compact - in which an ugly girl, always tormented by her classmates, looked and saw herself as beautiful. She could use the compact on other people as well, by opening it and sort of flashing the glint of light from the glass in their eyes. Then they would see her as beautiful as well. She then would take her revenge on those classmates by killing or torturing them in different ways. This series, along with the likes of Monsters, Tales From The Darkside, Werewolf & The Hitchhiker all deserve DVD releases. One can only hope.

I also have a horror movie question I figured somebody on here could help me with.
I caught this on A&E, sometime in the early '90s, and it scared the crap outta me at that time. I still remember the images to this day.
All I really remember is a girl being locked in a room of a creepy old house by an old lady who wears a pair of scissors around her neck. The girl is frantically trying to get out. She sits down on the edge of the bed and there is this weird scarecrow-like figure who sits up from under the covers and attacks her or something.
What happens after that I don't recall unfortunately. All I remember after is a shot of the same girl standing in the middle of a cornfield, and the camera pans out to reveal the same scarecrow hanging on a stake behind her.
I'm not sure if this is a movie or from one of the TV series mentioned in this post.
Is this familiar to anyone??? I'd really like to know what this is, it's been bugging me for years!!!
