I still think about the bishop of battle to this day

for years after I saw this movie I thought about JJ still being trapped in the game as if it was realtime and in real life. And after all those years since he got trapped in the game, how many different places had the game been to? How many other malls, and movie theatre lobbys, bars, amusement parks, and eventually tucked away in the back of an older arcade because all of the other kids were playing mortal kombat in the 90's? And after all this time and countless players using JJ's body theororetically to play the game and maybe not know about how he was trapped in the game and about his story. And today in 2008 well 2009 where is the game today? Did the game make its way around the country over the span of 25 years? Did the game make stops in all 50 states and if so which dying arcade did it wind up and is it still played? Or is it tucked in the back with all the other low tech games? And did someone else manage to beat the game and free JJ or was he imprisoned in the game forever? Or did anyone ever know that there was a person trapped in the game.I think about that everytime I walk past an arcade game wherever I'm at.

I hear you.

To me, the ending of The Bishop Of Battle episode is probably the creepiest moment in the film (and I like the film as a whole).

Wait a minute... who am I here?

I wonder if JJ was simultaneously in all of the copies of this game or just that one particular one.

If the Bishop Of Battle is still played somewhere out there in movieland, then maybe it's part of one of those game collections you see in Pizza Huts that has about 50 games in one.

Nobody would believe him, but as the only one who recognizes that JJ is trapped inside the game, his friend might sneak in one night and go at the machine with a crow bar in an attempt to rescue JJ. And if he wasn't successful, atleast make it impossible for anyone else to fall into it's clutches.

It's a pretty haunting ending. Very underrated movie.
