Christopher Crowe & Cristina Raines

He was a writer for this movie (I think he wrote the first three stories) and he's married to the dark-haired lady who smokes in the first segment. They weren't married till 1986, but I wonder if they were a couple when this movie was made. SPOILERS

What if she had died in it? The writer would have sent his own wife to her death. I know she wouldn't really have died, but it's still kind of freaky. I just thought of something: Nobody died in it, except you see a funeral for a character you never meet or see (3rd segment), and the killer dies in the first segment, but he deserved to die.

Is Cristina really a smoker? They have tobaccoless cigarettes for when someone is playing a part of a smoker, but doesn't want to actually pollute their lungs. Jane Fonda smoked them when she played a smoker in Agnes of God. Cristina, if you're reading this, you're really pretty and we'd all like to see you in a movie or TV again! I love the way Cristina says, "Ohhhhhh" in a sigh of relief when she sees there's a gas station open.

Yes, someone did die in it. In the opening scene, a cop is killed by the maniac who will later terrorize Cristina Raines.

The cop is brutally stabbed, but I remember there was a scene where they indicated on the radio that the cop was in either stable or critical condition. But it did look like he was killed.

Cristina was hot.
