shareI know that Kim was trying to do the nice and "right thing" by paying her respects to Sean Connery, but I always thought that Never Say Never Again was a form of "old shame" for her. She didn't enjoy working for Irvin Kershner (for whom she accused of being "mean") and didn't anticipate the shooting to run so long. Plus, Kim Basinger apparently, had to wear a wig when it came time for reshoots, because she had cut her hair short for the movie The Man Who Loved Women. According to the trivia, Kim was very reluctant to do Never Say Never Again at first, because she was worried that if she played a Bond girl, it would've been much harder for people to take her seriously as an actress.
