30th anniversary of the release of 'Never Cry Wolf' this month

Gosh, it's been 30 years already? Right about now would have been a good time to release that blu-ray edition the fans have been waiting for. It's still not too late to pull something together, Disney (or, even better, Criterion)... even if it has to come out early next year.

Saw this in a theater when I was 18 and was blown away by it. I too am patiently waiting for Disney to release it on blu.

Ballard's first film, The Black Stallion, came out early last year...but the transfer was just so-so.

Couldn't agree more! Criterion would do wonders with this film.
