Why isn't Beverly D'Angelo featured in more movies?

If you for example, seen her in her non-Vacation franchise movies like American History X, you would probably be asking Hollywood hasn't taken more advantage of her acting chops?

She has been making movies and TV shows for 44 years. I am baffled that you think she wasn't in more movies.

She has at the moment 124 credits on IMDB so she has been working a lot. Now if you mean star roles, well she never really hurt the mainstream until her 30's and most female careers in Hollywood reach a dead end once they turn 40.
