Aunt Edna complaining about eating at Sonic.

I realize she was still angry/upset about her dog being killed by Clark, but I found it odd that she was all the sudden so picky about food. First of all, she stayed with Eddie who often cooked Hamburger Helper without any hamburger. Then she willingly ate dog piss-soaked sandwiches. Now all the sudden she's too good to eat at a fast food place? It seems to me that a Sonic hot dog would be a vast improvement over what she had been eating.

I know what you mean. Since she didn't like Clark for some stupid reason she expected more from him but didn't respected him she's a stupid grouchy old bitch.

reply

ANYTHING Clark did, Edna would have complained about... Clark could have taken them to a ritzy country club and Edna would likely have complained lol

Don't you mean A and W? Sonic doesn't have car trays. Doesn't he break a window with his car tray?

reply

I think maybe back then they had car trays.

reply

They still do, depending on the location.

reply

Yep. Our local Sonic has food trays

reply

I know. It never ceases to amaze me on these forums that some think/feel whichever way it is where THEY are it’s the same everywhere.

reply

Lol yep. I’ve called a liar a few times. Some people are very self focused.

reply

"Is this your idea of a good restaurant, DOG KILLER?!" LOL

reply

Love that line.

reply

I like that scene, but it probably would've been cut today for pacing.

reply

Waitress!

Classic scene.

When did Clark have the time to repair his car window?

reply

They could've stopped at a garage off screen, it probably wouldn't be that hard to repair.

reply

I think from the get-go she was going to complain about anything that Clark did.

reply

Clark could have served her food from the best cook in the world and she would have complained.

reply

First of all, she stayed with Eddie who often cooked Hamburger Helper without any hamburger.

I don't even know why they call it Hamburger Helper, it does just fine all by itself. I like it better than Tuna Helper myself.
