Man This Movie Is Much More Realistic Compared to Eight Below

I have watched Eight Below a couple of months back and just watched this one last week. After watching this Japanese version I got to say that this movie is far more realistic and sad compared to the Disney version of Eight Below. It was rather disturbing to see how the dogs die in this one, especially when two dogs got drowned in the icey water among the glaciers. It's sad to watch the poor dogs pawing helplessly on the edge of the ice banks trying to get themselves out from the icey water, fighting for their lives and finally lost the battle when they sank deep down into the waters. I think the producers of this film really sacrifice the dogs at the expense of making this film look real and believing.
