Sambos Shooting location?

Does anyone know the address where this Sambos was?

I'd like to visit the shooting location, but have no idea where it was. I know Sambos is out of business, but I'd still like to visit whatever is there now.

Foranyone interested....

I just entered that corner on GOOGLE EARTH. It came up as W 6th and S Vermont Ave.

If Sambo's was located on a corner, the building may be gone now. It seems there is a parking lot on one corner, a Walgreen's on another, a fairly tall office building on another corner, and some kind of weird looking structure with an iron fence on top of it.

When you zoom out, it seems like there was a lot of construction taking place in the area when the satellite photo was taken. And there is asubway station for the LA Metro now in the area also.

Per the other replies, the "weird looking building" on the SE corner of 6th and Vermont is about where that Sambo's used to be. If you use Google Maps Street View and look at the unique window covers on the building across the street (I'll append the URL below but I don't know if IMDB will allow it), you can match them to the opening scene in "My Breakfast with Blassie" when the text on the screen reads "This event was filmed as it happened. The customers and staff of Sambo's appear as themselves."

I wasted hours analyzing the first four minutes of that movies. From what I can tell, Andy got on the bus at 6th and Vermont, just by that Sambo's, then rode the bus up-and-down Vermont avenue (as far as the Hollywood Freeway), then got off at the same stop and then went into the restaurant. In fact, if you look closely you can see a portion of the rock wall of Sambo's as Andy gets on the bus.

This is four years later, but yeah that link works. Like you say, you can see that one very tall building clearly in the beginning of the movie. Sambo's would have been where that fence is now.
