Until I saw this movie, I didn't know Andy Griffith could play evil

I know now about Face In The Crowd, but back before I saw THIS movie, all I had seen of Griffith was The Andy Griffith Show, Matlock, and those mystery movies where he played a police chief.

Then I saw this movie. And I saw Griffith in the electric chair. Blew me away.

This one, and Savages from 1974 blew me away. I think this one topped that one though because of the use of the n word.

Another film in which Andy Griffith plays an EVIL role, is A Face In the Crowd. It's disturbing.
