Did anyone else think of Marilyn Manson...........

..........while seeing Eric Idle in drag during "Find the Fish?"

You're right. Having taken a closer look, I realized that was Graham Chapman.

Whoops.

reply

And people with bad musical taste don't usually watch Monty Python films.
But it did remind me of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". This movie was brilliant.

reply

Definitely Rocky Horror.

reply

No, not at all. Looked like Graham in drag. Slow part of the film. This would be over 10 years before no talent Marilyn "Manson and the Spooky Boys" were around. I assure you that everything man has done is being repeated over and over again. Boring entity we are.

reply

Um No because I first saw the film in the theatres back in 1983 which was before Marilyn Manson entered the scene.

...it actually kind off reminded me of Pris in Blade Runner, with the whig and the airbrushed stripe across the eyes.

reply

I'm not sure Manson had even been born when I first saw the film.

Although now that you mention it, i wonder if Manson got some ideas from this film.

reply

I said that to my boyfriend when we watched it together. "He looks like Marilyn Manson!"

reply

I saw it for the first time yesterday with my girlfriend, and as soon as I saw the drag I said her "The make-up on the eyes is like Marilyn Manson's one 5-6 years ago".

Manson had been alive about 15 years when it was released, so I bet he was alive when you saw the film.

For some reason I assumed Manson was much younger than me. Not sure why now.

"Rock is dead! Long live Paper and Scissors!"

It reminds me of the stuff I see every time I close my eyes.

Ah, Dr Frankenfurter, the Sweet Transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania. Also very disturbing and hilarious.

Dear sirs,
I would like to object in the strongest possible
respects about that last song about the mad
scientist who wears women's clothes. Many of my
best friends are mad scientists and only a few
of them are transvestites.

No. Eric Idle is funny, while Marilyn Manson is a real mothersucker. I hate it!
