Is this movie mistitled??

I had to Google what microwaves in the 80s looked like. Nothing seemed to look like whatever was in the movie. Also, no one was massacred with whatever the appliance really was.

It looks as though it would be a microwave for a busy restaurant rather than a domestic use type. It does involve a serial killer who wants to feed his newly-found appetite for cannabilism.
