I own the VHS(ok two) but it's just not the same as watching it on tv.

They show it on ABC Family but I am here to tell you they edit the hell out of it, cut out SO much and WHY? It's a half hour cartoon, right? They need to take out scenes now that they didn't need to 20 years ago for commercial space?
shareI know don't you just hate that?I am watching The Santa Clause right now with Tim Allen on ABC Family and they edited out alot of stuff so it could fit in a 2 hour time slot.They also did the same thing with the Twas The Night Before Christmas Cartoon as well.
shareI totally agree! They cut out snippets of dialogue during the beginning, and the editing is so abrupt that even if you hadn't seen this movie, you could tell they were cutting it. It's so unneeded too, because like you said it's only a half hour long.

It'll be on at 7:00 AM on ABC Family Channel on Christmas Day if you're interested.But be warned they edited out a lot of stuff so they could get it to fit in a 30 minute slot.I remember when the Disney Channel used to show this.It would air in a 60 minute slot.But even they aren't doing much for the Christmas season anymore.They used to show all the Mickey Christmas specials and this year not one.
