Why isnt this film shown in america

...maybe on the likes of HBO but haven't seen it on TCM or AMC. Good POW story. Let's suggest it on tcm.com

yea. i am jealous. because ive seen the trailer and it looks really good. even david bowie is even amazing as an actor

Watched it on Netflix.

I vaguely remember commercials/trailers for this movie when it first came out in the USA.
