I've absolutely always loved this movie. Whenever it's on TV (as it was earlier today) and I come across it, I have to watch. Even if there's only a few minutes left.

It doesn't get much better than this. Superior acting, excellent comedic timing and some genuine not dirty 'heat' between Marsha Mason and Donald Sutherland. I just found my old VHS copy of this and am in Heaven!

I will never understand why every time I read about this move it is called a failure, a let-down, a disappointment.
I don't know why. From the first time I saw it on the BIG screen, I thought it was terrific and I also watch it over and over again whenever I can.
