DVD Hoax???!

I have searched far and wide for thison DVD. If it was not available on DVD at all or released in different countries that would be fine. I have bought Dietrich films from various countries not available in the US and then stripped region encoding to burn a useable copy, putting up with packaging and menues not in English.

But, what is astounding is Marlene is so widely listed as existing in DVD format, with DVD release date, cover photo, and ASIN #B00000JN2M, however, it seems that the DVD either never existed or by some incredible fluke was released with such limited copies that no one has a used copy for sale. There are none available at any price on eBay and so forth!

Don't bother visiting the website of the studio who released it, Image Entertainment. You won't find it as a product, not even one shown scheduled for future release.

This is pretty bizarre. Surely someone out there knows something about this!

Its getting a UK DVD release very soon.

Yep. It's finally available. My eyes popped out when I saw it had been released when I was flipping through Total Film (or Empire, can't remember). I got it from Amazon UK. Low price, great treasure.
