What was wrong with Charles Bremer ?.

MAN OF FLOWERS is a great film, however I've often wondered from a Psychological view, what may have been wrong with Charles ?.
Despite being likable, he's emotionally stunted with a sexual repression starting from Childhood.
Charles likes Sex, but can't bring himself to do it and feels guilty.
When Charles was a Boy, he grabbed a Woman's Tits and was punished, which caused his sexual urges to be repressed and channelled into Antiques, Art and Flowers.
Later in life, Charles could'nt get off seeing a Woman stripping.
He's admiring the female form, without sexual interest.
Charles was aroused by the Lady's beauty, not her nudity.
Art, Antiques and Flowers are replacements for things that normally cause arousal.
(A nice shaped Bum, Breasts, smile, Vagina etc...)
Charles has transferred his sexual urges to inanimate objects.

Does my description sound ok ?.
What would a Psychologist or Psychiatrist say about Charles Bremer ?.

TONY CROSSLEY.
