Hank Jr's wives and girlfriends

In the movie, his first wife is named "June Bradshaw," but in real life, her name was "Gwen Yeargain". I also noticed that in the movie that the girl he dates and would later marry is "Becky Haynes", and in real life is named "Becky", but is named "Becky White". I wonder why the names were changed or if there was anyone in real life that Hank Jr. dated named June and Lisa (whom he dated and was engaged to in the movie)?

Yep,I noticed that too. Must have been for legal reasons I guess. And he also had Hank III with his first wife, but they didn't mention that either.

Same reason I came here --- Gwen Yeargain was his 1st wife until 1977 so even after he fell off the mountain ---

I can't remember in the movie do they mention him having any son ?

No they don't mention his son, Shelton in the movie. Not sure why though.
