I watched this film on VHS around '88; it was brilliant AND twisted. I have the first season of Torchwood (UK) through a friend of a friend of a file sharer and episode 2 "Day One" follows the same plotline: alien inhabits girl seeking ultimate orgasmic drug--men are consumed in process.

I was explaining the plot of Liquid Sky to a friend who immediately pointed out the similar plot device in Torchwood. I think a few films have been inspired by L.S. so it wouldn't suprise me if the writer had taken the idea for Torchwood, which is a pretty lame show, agree with the second poster.
