Supposedly, Media Blasters has picked up the rights for the R1 DVD.

They say it should be out next year some time. Well, hopefully it'll be fully uncut. I bought a bootleg of the DVD a while back, and holy god was it cut to high hell.

they did get the rights, a trailer for the film appears on the dont go in the woods dvd (this was released by code red dvd, but is fully distributed by media blasters)

also bootleg dvd rips of the fully uncut region 2 dvd with added english subtitles are out there as well,

Yeah, that's what I aimed for, but got the crappy dubbed PG version.

I read the trailer appears on the JULES VERNE'S FABULOUS JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH DVD.

disc is out now but I have no idea if it is just the jap audio or if they put the english dub on it as well

Just saw the dvd at Virgin, it has both Japanese and English.
