I grew up on this. I am from Lexington Kentucky, I have seen his grave stone and some of my family is burried right next to Jim Varney. I was a little disapointed I thought he would have had a bigger stone but it was really neat. Black stone with a Comedy Tragedy Mask on it. My mother in law went to school with him and he is all over her year book.
I have always loved the Earnest Character and the family album. Now it is rare to find it at all, I just came across a copy and got it and the same magic of laughter that was in it from before is still there today. I also have some of the ernest commercials on Ernest Film Festival. Die Hard Ernest fan but the same humor there today. He will definatly be missed.

I like Lloyd because he's so mean and just pretends like he has stuff, and his son Mistake is so stupid. A also like Pop because he reminds me of my grandfather, and Davy Worrell because of the dozen people he plays at once.

I like Billy Boogie and Lloyd and that part on Ace when King Kong if falling off is funny! On Pop I couldn't even understand what he was saying. I wish Ernest was in it a little bit more. But I think the skits are FUNNY!
