It would be nice to see this released on a budget DVD like "Murder in Coweta County". Uncut too. I have a copy I taped off of basic cable a few years ago and the murder scenes are cut pretty badly. Keep in mind this was a network TV movie mad 25 years ago airing on basic cable now, and it's considered too violent!

Also I see a couple of negative comments posted up there. This was one of the best TV movies ever made and some people just don't get it. Realistic, violent and well acted (especially by Mitchum).

I have been trying to get a copy of this movie and I am having no luck.
I have searched the Internet extensively and there seems to be nobody with a copy in video or dvd, has anybody any ideas how I may be able to get a copy? I would be very grateful for any info as my daughter would like a copy for christmas. Cheers

I've spent the last two days shuffling through the Warner Archive DVDs and I noticed that A Killer in the Family is available. I think it was released in January. Hope this helps some.
