The age of the brothers
So in the original Jaws Michael is about 12 and Sean is about 10. No way they're at bars and in charge of a Sea World at this point
shareStrictly going by the age of the actors they were twelve and seven in the first one. 19 and 12 three years later. 29 and 23 five years after that and 27 and 26 four years later in the fourth film.
Michael ages seven years in three, then ten years in the next five and then somehow freezes time to de-age two years in the following four year span.
Sean ages five years in three, then eleven years in the next five and then three years in four.

The events of jaws are in 1974. You see it on Brody's death report and in jaws 2 is plague that says man of the year says 1974.
