The cover and name (Rubberface) are totally misleading?

Is this the same situation as with "Italian Stallion" when they changed the name when the actor got famous? Seems like it.

The movie has absolutely nothing to do with Jim Carrey's or anybody else's RUBBERFACE. While "Introducing... Janet" name fits OK.

The cover is misleading. Overall, not as bad as other 80s films he was in given he was still a main character.
