Not as bad as people make out...

First off, this is one of those books that EVERYBODY read in junior high and loved, and that colors any possible movie made from it. Yes, the acting is a little wooden, but I think the story is told well and is fairly accurate to the book- yes, I read both.

I would also point out that this was made a very long time ago, and since then nobody has ever made another version. So be glad there is this one out there, huh?
