I wish this film...

had been tied into the original Halloween - maybe young Michael Meyers' mask was made by Silver Shamrock, and instead of turning kids' heads into rot and worms, the masks controlled the children, making them do murderous deeds.

That is very inventive, mrwitticism, but would detract from Michael Myers. He is so popular because he doesn't look or act quite like any other slasher. His story would be reduced to nonsense if he had thousands of miniature imitations.

Maybe Mustache was successful in warning everyone (though we don't know for certain, as the film's ending was left ambiguous) but years later young Michael Meyers found an overlooked Silver Shamrock mask that he would put on on that fateful Halloween night!

That would be a smooth way to combine our points. You mean that this movie would serve as a prequel instead of a sequel with a few references to the past. The missing mask, instead of Michael Myers himself, could be afflicted with The Curse Of Thor, which would explain why the slasher can't be stopped even though the power behind the Silver Shamrock line has been destroyed. Someone practicing witchcraft for the factory might apply the curse to one mask to ensure that there will be a surviving killer in case if the employees are caught and their control over all of the other children disappears. Halloween III: Season Of The Witch wouldn't be a failure if it had a substantial story, and might even interest fans if it provided a background for Michael Myers.
