FYI just saw this again and reminded me of old Moscow

Wm. Hurts portrayal of a Russian is spot on. Not very expressive and subdued, if you've ever met Russians and militia (now Putin calls them Police). They're not the wave-your-arms around type. His conversations were like those held in moscow kitchens where people liked to congregate and chat politics in those days. Gorky park is one of the safest places to go, there's no crime. And back the bit was more full of children than teens. None of the people looked Russian to me but the women here were beautiful (before fast food invaded Moscow) so Pacula could be mistaken for one.
