Why is this great movie NEVER shown on TV anymore????
shareI wish I knew. This is one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time. So many movies made for TV have only been shown once or twice, and then put away forever in the vaults, it seems. This is one movie that deserves to be shown every year. Great cast; warm and wonderful story.

I produced The Gift of Love all those years ago, and have just caught up with the great comments and reviews posted on IMDb. All are much appreciated (even those selling bootleg copies:) I see many have been frustrated that the movie has never been released on vhs or dvd (which it hasn't), and the inability to find a good copy. I have finally been able to make a transfer to DVD from an early production tape, so it's pretty good quality (by standards of that time!) If still interested, email me at [email protected].
