Does a boy fall through ice in this movie?
I'm trying to verify a childhood memory from an '80s Christmas movie -- a boy falling through ice, maybe his brother or a dog saved him? Did this happen in the movie?

I produced The Gift of Love: A Christmas Story in 1983, which is the movie you're remembering. And yes, the young boy does fall through the ice and makes it home.
