A Fan Club for the movie?

I'm interested to see if there is any interest out there for a fan club for the movie. It would be similiar to the one for "Somewhere in Time"; which has over a thousand members and meets every year at the film location. They have a quarterly news letter; showings of the film; interviews with cast and crew members; sell related merchandise and have influenced the studio to make better copies of the film and had a twenty year revival shown in several cities. I would like to have the first meeting in Vermont (Underhill or Shelburne) for the 25th anniversary in December 2008. Please tell me what you think; I'd be grateful. I have this posted on both comments pages and message boards to reach the most people. Thanks.
Update 12/07/09 Sorry to say didn't receive a single reply. Best laid plans. Also later found out from Vermont film bureau that it was filmed in Burlington and Chelsea, Vermont. If you go to the town website, you will see the church seen in the movie. Still plan to go anyway. Regards.

Hi Ron,
I produced The Gift of Love all those years ago, and have just caught up with the great comments and reviews posted on IMDb. All are much appreciated (even those selling bootleg copies:) I see many have been frustrated that the movie has never been released on vhs or dvd (which it hasn't), and the inability to find a good copy. I have finally been able to make a transfer to DVD from an early production tape, so it's pretty good quality (by standards of that time!) If still interested, email me at [email protected].
Thanks again for the kind thoughts.

I would love a copy as well. This is my favorite movie and have many checking for years for them to offer it on DVD (or even video) so we could have a good copy. Thanks for any help.

Bravo. What a wonderful movie it is. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing it to life. Imagine returning for a childhood Christmas and sharing it with your children. Dreamed of that scenario many times. Beautiful story, beautifully presented. And those wonderful performances. Thank you, thnak you, thank you.
