This movie...

I was looking around the Internet, and saw this movie listed as one of the most coked up movies ever. I located a copy and drank a Monster and NOS (I don't do coke. Haven't touched it in years. ) and watched it expecting a campy crapfest like most early 80s comedies. The thing was, the movie was actually good. I guess it was the terrific performances by the musical performers (and my sped up brain loving all the flashing lights and special effects), but by the end of the movie, I was spellbound. How did this movie become so obscure? I wouldn't put it up with the classics like Porky's, Vacation, or Caddyshack, but damn this was a good movie.
