French Woods Captured ON-SCREEN!!!

This movie was filmed at my alum summer camp, French Woods in Hancock, New York (Upstate) in 1982. The story goes that the company asked the proprieter of the camp if they could film a movie there. Well, he got lots of money but didn't know what he was getting into. Since then, this movie has been disowned by French Woods and it's like a forbidden topic. Just a bit of trivia for anybody that has even the slightest (I wouldn't know why you would) interest in this crappy picture.

My only interest in this movie is the mega talented Vincent D'Onofrio..I'm glad he's worked his way up from these humble beginnings!

Ha ha. This bring back memories - my sister went to French Woods that summer and bragged that she was going to be an extra in "Meatballs II." Yes, that's what they told the campers they were filming. God only knows if the owners were lying or just unbelievably naive - I'm sure they could never have expected this piece of garbage.

BTW, what kind of name for a camp is "French Woods"? That's almost as bad as naming the camp "Have Sex in Forest." No wonder they filmed "The First Turn-On" there.
