When Larn first meets him he sees a destroyed palace or something where Darkwolf's head is carved in stone. Does that mean he's some kind of deity?
shareWell i noticed when they venture into the destroyed city, theres a stone glyph depicting a figure that looks exactly like dark wolf.My thoughts are this.I think He was great king who had a kingdom and then he was seduced by rihanna and then she bore nekron and his kingdom was destroyed.So now he is like a Ghost and he seeks to kill nekron and rihanna.Another thing that makes me believe this theory is that he randomly describes rihanna as a she bitch and just goes berzerk talking about them as if they had done something personally to him.

"It was revealed in the original screenplay for Fire and Ice (1983) that Sandor's character, Dark Wolf, and the evil sorceress Juliana had once been lovers and that Lord Nekron, the film's villain, was their son, and this was meant to provide Dark Wolf with his motivation for fighting them as well as explaining why, in the end, he alone was able to defeat Nekron. However, this was not featured in the finished film, a change director Ralph Bakshi claims he was not aware of."
Just wanted to add, there are clues to some of the above facts, for example darkwolf refers to Juliana as a 'wolf-bitch'.
