Factory Tape Mess Up!

I bought the original Gorgon release (not the "Red" cover, or the VHS re-issue from the boxset, but the regular release with reaper art) and it's NOT "Faces of Death II"!

First off, it appears that the white tape label that says "Faces of Death II" has been places over a different, black label.

After putting the tape in I discover it to actually be a film called "The Shocking Faces of Death Part 2". WTF? That title doesn't exist on imdb, and I can't find any info ANYWHERE about it! It appears to have been done at Gorgon Video because it contains the correct label as I said, but a totally different movie! It DOES contain an FBI Warning, but no Gorgon Video logo!

Anyone have any info on this?

i would imagine that you purchased it secondhand and not direct, as i am not sure where you would get a vhs direct these days. in that case, it may have been someone (small distributor?) covering up a surplus of the other title (non gorgon knockoff title? i have heard of 'many faces of death', though they had to change the title to something else after about 9 vhs compilations were already released) or maybe someone just had the case for FOD2 and did their own label work to alter the tape... could be a handful of things. haven't heard of this before, though.
