physical shoot...

I wince every time I see her get out of the cab and fall in the street. They didn't go easy on her when the thief plows into her in the NY street scene,either.Ouch.Yet another movie made infinitely more watchable by Ms. Kinski's bewitching presence. The dance sequence was dynamite..so glad they resisted the temtation to have Nureyev appear and jump around some.Or maybe he did,and I just didn't notice?

I actually do know how to spell"temptation"...sozya know.As long as I'm back,I thought I had seen stills years ago somewhere(perhaps in Playboys"Sex in Cinema"),of Nureyev drawing a bow across a nude Kinski's back.Am I thinking of a different movie? Was it a publicity shot?

Apparently that is this movie. I've never seen it, but I've heard about that scene. I would like to see it. Not just for that scene.

It was released in DVD in Brazil. No extras, but widescreen and uncut.

If you've never seen this movie but would like to, you're in luck if you're a Showtime subscriber in the United States. It'll be shown in the month of January 2009. I just watched it this morning.

I too remember seeing stills of the infamous 'bow' scene and could have sworn that Natasha was semi-clothed in them. That is not the case in this cut as Ms. Kinski is fully clothed when Rudy 'bows her bod'.

I was struck by the 'macho'-ness of the story's point of view as Ms. Kinski appears to be subservient to every male that comes in to her life. I guess, in the end, it's a love story and although we've gone on a journey with Elizabeth I don't feel as though she's grown or learned anything from her experiences.

I remember how bourgeois the terrorists were and that they weren't really fighting for a cause but for good food, wine, a woman, a bed and a cigar.

Strange little movie with great exterior shots of Paris and more Citro├źns than were ever sold in the states.

Without her presence, this movie would have been quite bad. I consider this is her best performance next to Tess. Her facial expression, her poses, and that one tremendous dance are definitely "bewitching".

I love Nastassja Kinski. She's amazing and one of my favorite actresses. The dance sequence is the best part of the movie. Very sexy
