My friend pointed out to me how similar the two films are (if you take out the drug abuse by the nuns in the Almodovar film). Does anyone know if the SISTER ACT screenwriter ever acknowledged this film as an inspiration? Thanks.

share"Sister Act" definetly looks like a Disneyfied version of this film. If anybody gets a copy of "Sister Act" they should look for the screenplay credit which should read "Based on a Screenplay by Pedro Almodovar." If it doesn't Pedro should sue them.
