Surprised this wasn't on the AFI 100 Cheers List

I watched this film last night and I thought it was a great film. I also liked the score. I must be in the minority of that one. Anyways, I thought the film was really inspirational and I'm surprised AFI failed to include this in their top 100 Cheers list.

Those American Film Institute lists honors American films. Educating Rita is a British production.
