Not the entire soundtrack unfortunately but you can hear its' "instrumental theme" on the dbl. CD titled, Francis Lai-30 Years Of Film Music-1966-1996.
I was in Holland a few years back and found this at a discount music store.
The music is fantastic. The CD was released in 1996 on the GEMA label. Useful #'s off CD [sion 18602 cd) & [lc6889].
If you find it and you should be able to, you won't regret it.
Goodluck.

I am in the same boat as you guys...I've been looking for this soundtrack on CD for several years, to no avail. I used to own it on cassette, never having seen the film; I just picked it up out of curiousity and fell in love with the incredible instrumentals and the gorgeous voices of Charles Aznavour and Mama Bea. But as was too often the case, my beloved cassette began to warble, making listening to it a maddening, awful experience. I think the tape was eventually eaten by the machine it was being played on. Should anyone ever catch wind of its release on disc, please include me in the loop of the informed! I wonder if a campaign on the label would net any result???

Sorry to say I have had no luck in finding the soundtrack and more important a copy of the movie. So I did the next best thing and purchased some CD's from Edith Piaf and Charles Aznavour. I still have a VCR copy ot the movie that I recorded off of the Cable station Bravo, many, many, years ago. But I am still hoping some day I can purchase and original copy of this movie. It happens to be one of the best French Films and Soundtrack that I have ever seen. I watch the copy I have of this movie at least 2 times a year.
Anyone know why this Film or Soundtrack is not available? Does it have anything to do with Marcel Cedan's Family? Why is it, that such a fantastic movie and soundtrack is not available anywhere. I went to France for the sole purpose of finding this movie and No Luck what so ever. Oh Well Maybe someday I will come across it. Again, anyone comes across this anywhere please pass on the information.
Good Luck to All us Edith Et Marcel Fans.

Wow - I came here looking for info on the soundtrack only to find there are many others looking for the same thing. I found the cassette many years ago in a used record store and have almost worn it out. My favorite track is the dreamy version of La Mer and I would love to find it on CD. I, too, have looked during trips to France, but to no avail. If anyone does find it, please get back to us here and let us know. Thanks!!

The dvd of this film is currently available in France, generally in markets for a price around 4 euros. It has French audio but no subtitles so you need to understand the language. As to the soundtrack, it has never been issued on cd but certain songs may be found on 45 rpm vinyl records. Check the French second hand site www.priceminister.com for these.

Is Zimmer secretly channeling his scores with Edith Piaf related material? He made the Inception score based on "Non Je ne Regrette Rien". And not it looks like TDK was inspired by Edith et Marcel's score. Genius..
