What was the song that played at the end of the movie...?

...while Eddie is walking away down the street after watching the television? The lyrics are something like "Can you see the light?" I've listened to the clips of the soundtrack album and that song doesn't seem to be on there.

probably since you only listened to clips of the soundtrack instead of the whole thing. The music at the end of the film is the ending of "Season In Hell".... if you listen to the entire song on the soundtrack, it's there.

There are apparently a couple different versions of the soundtrack out there. I was in grammar school when I first saw this movie and then bought the soundtrack...on vinyl, gasp! And the full version of "Season in Hell" was on it. But as recently as a few years ago when I went to download the soundtrack (god only knows where that vinyl copy is now), I noticed that there were several differing versions available. And the "main-looking" version didn't seem to have "Season in hell" on it at all.

So, the point is, the OP may have been listening to something other than the original release of the soundtrack.

Although it's been a while here's the answer: Indeed it is "Season in Hell" or actually to be more precise "Fire Suite," which was supposed to be the tag outro of the Season in Hell album. Yes in recent years the soundtrack's been cut down for some stupid reason. In my opinon the song Season in Hell and the end portion your speaking of is the best part of the whole soundtrack.
